Probably my last post wearing these culottes on here. I've worn them all summer and it's perfect fall transition piece. I don't have a lot of printed tops due to being busty and prints on top put emphasis on that area.I love my closet being neutral as well which makes dressing up in the morning a breeze.

I found this DIY from one of my favorite blogs A Pair & A Spare. I have been itching to make it all summer. I had my BF check his closet for any old shirts he no longer wanted, and He gave me two including this one. I turned them both into off shoulder dresses. It was probably the easiest DIY I've done. All you need is some elastic and a sewing machine. You can do it by hand if you prefer, but it would take much longer. Check out the link to the DIY and let me know what you guys think.

Yesterday's look, wearing this burnt orange off shoulder top again that gave me so much grief last weekend. But yesterday's weather was perfect for this top since the material is a bit warm. The moment I saw these Zara inspired channel slingback pumps, I knew I had to have them. They are so gorgeous,and definitely something my grandma would wear. Whenever I see heels this low,they always remind me of my grandmother. These being in my favorite color camel,and look so much like the Chanel slingbacks which I would love to have.Who wants to get me a pair of the Chanel sling-backs for Christmas? I'm a size 6.

Took my lovely friend Deb from MsNerdyChica out for her birthday brunch to NOMO Kitchen. She took me there for my birthday dinner and we both love this place. The food is amazing and the ambiance is right up our alley.

Yesterday's mission was to go to chinatown for a massage at our favorite spot where $30 bucks can get a you better than at a spa massage. It was total fail due to the heat. When you dress and walk out and know you've made a bad decision and decide to go with it anyways,never again. I was sweating so much in this top,jeans and all that we forgo the massage,after biking and being one block away from the place. We ended up siting on the corner of street for a good 40minutes taking shelter from the heat, walked around Soho whilts sipping on matcha lattes from Cha Cha.

Pink roses are my favorite ones. It's very ironic because I hated the color pink growing up,still do a little, maybe a lot still to be honest. I hate the association of girliness, feminine,etc...As a kid I would always pick yellow or red. I love that mum never bought me anything pink.Maybe having two brothers has something to do with it, but I'm skeptical. As an adult I don't mind blush,soft pinks as much when it comes to flowers & stationary. What's your favorite color?

Firstly summer isn't that long in NYC, 2nd that's travel money, and 3rd I don't want to be owned by CONED.

So Long Summer
Hello September! I love the complete switch in the weather. I am not a fan of summer unless I'm away on holiday. August has been so hot here in NYC,and I could not take it any longer. I could barely do any work,blogging, sewing,cooking, relaxing...etc. It was impossible to sit at my desk to edit photos and write blog posts. I have completely neglected Dadou~Eats which just started in the spring due to the heat this summer. I could not cook in my kitchen without showering in sweat and feeling like I was the things being cooked. I only have an AC in my bedroom and it doesn't make sense for me to buy two more for the kitchen and living room. Firstly summer isn't that long in NYC, 2nd that's travel money, and 3rd I don't want to be owned by CONED.
Hope you guys had a great summer! I am just glad it's over and I am ready for my favorite season Fall!
