Only a 40 minutes drive from Marrakech you will find the Scarabeo Camp, a creative and charming visual. The landscape is truly breathtaking.
We spent one night at the camp; It's a great option to get the desert camp experience without traveling all the way to the Sahara. The tent was spacious and comfortable, and the layout which included a dining tent and fire pits make you forget about your phone and enjoy the calmness of the desert. It's so peaceful, you can hear a pin drop.
On arrival the team will be delighted to welcome you to their own small corner of paradise... With mint tea of course. It's a place to completely unwind and disconnect from everyday life.
Each private sleeping area consists of a nomad tent of thick white cotton with comfortable beds. You can recline in a traditional Moroccan lounge strewn with ethnic cushions.
Feasting on traditional Moroccan cuisine around a candlelit(Dinner aux Chandelles)communal table is one of the pleasures of the desert camp. It brought back so many memories of me growing up in a the pearl of the Caribbean where most of my childhood nights consisted of having candlelit dinners and conversations under the stars. I cannot remember the last time I saw the stars so bright and so close. It was truly such an amazing experience that helped me to reconnect with myself, and my childhood memories.
Here are some activities offered by the camp: We only did the camel ride. This was the most expensive thing from our trip; around $200 (2000 Mad) but worth every penny and more.

Off-the-beaten-track tour by quad or bike
