I'm so happy our Airbnb host recommended La Paila fonda restaurant. It was the best dinners we had in
Havana and for so little money. They also had the best drinks at $2.25 yes you read that correctly. I repeat the best cocktails. In this place, you can enjoy the greatest cuba libres & Mojitos of the world. Please have a cuba libra,pina colada,limonada relbede, mojito,actually just try every drink on the menu. You will not be disappointed. I don't regret eating there everyday of our trip. I ordered a different fish everyday Even when I ordered the same dish it was different each time & more delicious.
The restaurant is right across the street from this beautiful pastel mansion which is the Hotel Habana Libre . It's in Vedado where we stayed and right around the corner from our apartment. Which was the best part of staying in Vedado in my experience. I miss the food from la Paila so much, cannot wait to go back.
