The Luxury Candles I Burn After a Long Day in the Office

If you have been following me for a long time, you would have seen my previous posts regarding dyptique candles. Like anyone else, I
used to buy cheap candles when I could not afford dyptiques and they got the job done. But once you try a dyptique candle it's nearly impossible to go back to cheap candles, you can only go up from there.

I tried and failed miserably. Two years ago after reviewing my spacenK rewards account and realized I had spent over a 1k on dyptique candles, I had a talk with myself. During that year, I lived in a huge apartment and had a candle in every room and always burning when I was home.No wonder I spent so much. It was my selfcare, at least that's what I told myself.
I must admit there is something so romantic about opening a fresh box of dyptique candle. I am not qualified to describe it and I urge you to try it for yourself and come back & let me know.

Which scent is my favorite? So hard to pick just one but if I had to, without a doubt Ambre. What's my 2nd favorite you're probably thinking, it's vanille. I see a correlation between the perfumes I wear and the candles I like. My number note in a perfume is Vanilla. It goes very well with my body chemistry as someone who have such a hard time finding a perfume that doesn't give me a headache.
Baies is the number one selling dyptique candle and I can see why. It's light and fresh. I would describe it as a fresh bouquet of freshly picked roses. The only time I use it this is when I buy a set of candles other than that I usually go with ambre even in the summer. What I love about dyptique candles they smell even more amazing when they're not even burning.

After a long day in the office or anywhere for that matter, one of the things I look forward to is light a match and burn a luxurious candle. I also love byredo burning rose but I had to pick one brand of luxury candles to burn forever it would dyptique.
Here are a list of my favorite dyptique scents: Ambre, Vanille, Santal , Roses, Baies, Cannelle, Tubereuse and Oud.
I haven't tried all their scents but as you can see I have tried a handful.

A little secret. Buy your dyptique candle from a Bloomingdales that has a SpacenK or straight from SpacenK and make sure to sign up for their rewards program. You get $5 every time you spend $100 and their birthday gifts are really good. I've discovered some amazing products from those. Sometimes you get double points which is fantastic. I currently have $15 to spend towards my next candle or anything really and I am so excited I may go for a bigger size this time.

What's your favorite luxury candle?

Thank you for reading,
Xoxo, Rose
