Seas The Day

Monroe and I ventured out to Long beach in Long Island for a day of fun a few weeks ago.  The
beach is quite nice and opens to public during the weekday and to residents on weekends. It's $15 for the day pass. The weekend before I was at the neighboring beach Lido which is a little nicer but more private/residents. Other than that if you're looking for a nice beach to go to for the remainder of the summer and you live in NYC, I def recommend Long Beach during the week and you can easily take the LIRR to get there. The station is about 5 minutes walk from the beach and don't be like me, remember to bring the rose. They have a fantastic ice cream spot by the beach called sedutto.

Now about what to wear, a lovely flowy dress is needed. This light blue off shoulder number from H&M was the perfect match not only to the ocean but the sky and my lace parasol was very needed as it was so hot.
