I love love silk. It's probably my favorite fabric to work with. There's something about it that exudes sensuality. I am working on my first collection of camis and ended up making so many slip dresses for myself in the process. I think Ill be incorporation dresses in the collection as well. A slip dress should be a staple in everyone's closet. You can wear it all year around.

This has to be one my fave shoot. We did it whilst in Florida in 90degree weather. I was sweating balls through this beautiful silk dress at 10 am. Everyone was looking at me thinking "where are you going?

I found this DIY from one of my favorite blogs A Pair & A Spare. I have been itching to make it all summer. I had my BF check his closet for any old shirts he no longer wanted, and He gave me two including this one. I turned them both into off shoulder dresses. It was probably the easiest DIY I've done. All you need is some elastic and a sewing machine. You can do it by hand if you prefer, but it would take much longer. Check out the link to the DIY and let me know what you guys think.

I was making an off shoulder top everyday a couple weeks ago. But last week's heatwave have been the worst. It's been impossible to do my sewing due to it being too hot in my living area/sewing studio space. I bought this beautiful eyelet fabric at my local shop and made this top. Getting back to sewing has been amazing this summer, I have done no shopping. This summer will go on record for me. I've pretty much made new tops and pair them with what I already have in my closet.#winning

American Flag shorts are always trending & 4th of July is 5hours away-so here's a quick DIY.It doesn't have to look perfect and do not make the mistake I made by painting the crotch area(you don't wanna look like you have your period, lol). It doesn't cost a lot to do this, the shorts I am using are from the thrift store $4 & the materials cost about $10.If you are crafty, you might already own the supplies needed.
Now your American Flag denim shorts are ready to wear!Pair them with converse(I'll be wearing my suede booties since I have yet to find my perfect pair of converse),white tee shirt or blouse.
I really hope this was helpful.Forgive me if it's not perfect, this is my 1st time doing it,so yeah!(*_*)
Have a Happy 4Th of July guys,be safe and eat lots of food!
Thank you for reading❤!

What you need:Fabric paints(red&white)you may also use stencil sprays, painter's tape, stars stencil, all purpose brushes(foam for the stripes side).I used candle holder for the paint, and just wash them as soon as you are done.I got all the above supplies at A.C Moore,or you can find them a your local craft store.
For the Stripes:Using painters tape, simply make stripes form top to bottom(but its up to your liking if you want them horizontal or vertical). Then brush the red paint or spray on the open areas.
For the Stars:Using stars stencils, cut them separately and lay them as flat as you can and paint away.Once you done, let it dry for 4 hours, they can be washed after 72 hours.
Now your American Flag denim shorts are ready to wear!Pair them with converse(I'll be wearing my suede booties since I have yet to find my perfect pair of converse),white tee shirt or blouse.
