Riomaggiore was probably the most underrated of the 5 villages and probably my third favorite. It is the first of the Cinque Terre one meets when travelling north from La Spezia.Riomaggiore's water is the bluest of blues & has a wonderful collection of colorful buildings that work their way down the cliffs to the sea below

One of Riogmaggiore's famous landmarks in a huge wall mural(pic above) that commemorates the Italian workers who built the sea walls that can be seen along the Cinque Terre coast.
