How French Pharmacy Products changed my skin

I've seen embryolysse around forever and since I am the anti-hype queen I just ignored it. We always hear about how french skincare is the way to go. During my trip to Paris last month, my colleague Elizabeth gave
me a list of creams to get her which where Avibon,Homeoplasmine & biafine. All French pharmacie favorites. I did get everything on the list except for Avibon which has been discontinued for a long time now. I was intrigued and decided why not get them for myself as well! I did and I also decided to try embryolysse since I've seen it around forever and it was the best decision ever. Now I cannot live without it. These products have changed my skin so much.Usually my skin suffers when I travel but within a day or two, my skin has transformed. It was so soft and there were no pimples in sight. My verdict is that French beauty is real.

Bioderma
I've been a fan of bioderma micellar water for so long. I used to always stock up when I go to Canada. It's my favorite make up remover. It's super gentle, so it won't strip or irritate your skin, and it's especially helpful for those with dry or sensitive skin.
My eyes are super sensitive so most cleansers cause them to flare up and water, but Bioderma works a treat. I use it to cleanse leftover makeup that face wipes

Embryolisse
There's something extremely special about the Embryolisse finish," she says. "It moisturizes the face while emphasizing a beautiful glow, but it never looks greasy." I never thought I'd be so hooked on this moisturizer, it was love at 1st try.
I use this both at nigh and in the morning. I kick myself for waiting so long to try this product.

Homeoplasmine has a few tricks up its sleeve too. This Vaseline-like ointment was originally designed for the chapped nipples of nursing mothers, but it’s now used on the chapped lips & all over the body. It’s great as a balm for cracked winter-sore lips and doubles up as a primer before makeup(haven't tried that but I can definitely say it's great primer for lipsticks). You only need the teeniest bit to do wonders, and its secret weapon is the ability to mattify lipsticks(it's true). I apply this right before bed after letting embryolisse sets in my skin.

Biafine It soothes, heals and protects sunburnt skin, preventing scarring and improving the healing process. Biafine is a French legend. For one thing, it's one of the ubiquitous products that everyone has in France - like rubbing alcohol or poly...The texture is very similar to the embyolisse and omg it smells divine.

Another product that I adore from Bioderma is their purifying foaming gel cleanser. I've been obsessed with this for a couple years now although I don't see around much. I got this bottle from Paris and can't wait to stock up when I go back. It's so gentle and cleanse the skin.

Make sure to visit a local pharmacy on a trip to France. That's where all the best French beauty products are hidden!

Have you guys tried French skincare? If so what was your experience? Please let me know if they are any other products I should try.
